Summary
The Lead Production Technician is responsible for overseeing daily operations on high-speed beverage manufacturing lines. Working as part of a production team, this role ensures the efficient and safe operation of equipment, adherence to quality standards, execution of maintenance tasks, and coordination of changeovers and sanitation activities. The technician plays a critical leadership role in optimizing workflow, improving equipment performance, supporting cross-functional teams, and executing administrative responsibilities as needed.
Safety and Compliance
- Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to and enforcing safety protocols.
- Ensure documentation of all safety incidents and near-misses.
- Maintain compliance with PPE, GMP, and sanitation standards.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of HAZMAT, SDS, EPA, FDA, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles.
