SUMMARY :

As a Certified Nursing Assistant I, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized, high-quality care to our residents. Working closely with the nursing team, you will be instrumental in fostering a supportive and caring environment. Your proactive approach to patient care will contribute significantly to our team's overall success.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Patient Care & Service : Assist residents with daily living activities according to individualized care plans, transport residents to and from activities, provide leisure activities, conduct evaluations and assessments, and offer emotional support to both residents and their families.

Safety : Help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all residents.

Communication & Documentation : Provide support to families and guide them to the appropriate professional staff, respond promptly to resident requests, and effectively communicate updates with team members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Currently certified in New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
