The Quality Inspector is responsible for hands-on inspection and quality assurance of manufacturing processes and products, ensuring compliance with company standards, specifications, and safety policies. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe working environment in line with company policies and procedures. Keep records of personal development and training. Perform detailed inspections of materials and products at various production stages. Use precision measuring tools and equipment to verify product dimensions, functionality, and finish. Record and report inspection results, tests, and compliance data. Identify and report non-conformities or defects to the General Manager. Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment. Support and implement quality control procedures. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide feedback to production teams on quality issues and improvements. Help review and update quality control manuals and procedures. Adhere to all safety guidelines during inspection and handling of equipment. Reject or hold products that fail to meet quality standards. Recommend process improvements to address quality concerns. Participate in quality audits and cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Financial Accountability Ensure all non-conforming and rejected products are documented, and notify the finance team accordingly. Major Challenges Maintaining a clean and organized inspection area. Ensuring non-conforming products are promptly removed and reported.
