Overview
The adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and fulfilling professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of the college or academic department.
Responsibilities
- Teach a minimum of one graduate-level course.
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
- Be prompt and accurate in recording and reporting student data.
- Support students' learning goals by focusing on student learning outcomes, considering their needs and abilities, and providing academic and social support.
- Make reasonable accommodations for individual differences.
- Maintain the academic integrity of the college.
- Be available to assist students in achieving their learning goals.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree preferred or highest attainable degree.Previous collegiate teaching experience recommended.Salary
Maximum : USD $3,250.00 / Semester
Minimum : USD $2,750.00 / Semester
