Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Breast Ultrasound Technologist to join our Breast Imaging team. Details : Title : Breast Ultrasound Technologist Location : Boston, MA 02118 Department : Breast Imaging Schedule : Full Time Salary Range : $99,000 - $124,000 Annually (union scale, based on experience) This is a union position, and the hourly rate is determined by years of experience and union scale. A $15,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance are available. Benefits : Comprehensive benefits package, including : Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Retirement Plan Paid Time Off Additional perks available Position Summary : In this role, you will be responsible for generating high-quality diagnostic sonographic images, assisting physicians with procedures, and providing compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards. Responsibilities : Perform a variety of diagnostic breast ultrasound exams to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Assist physicians during invasive procedures (biopsies, aspirations, intraoperative procedures). Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment following infection control and safety protocols. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times. Accurately document all procedures in PACS, RIS, Epic, and other required systems. Qualifications Education Associate's degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (required). Certification American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification (OB or AB or RVT required). Accreditation must be obtained prior to hire (OB / GYN applicants may obtain within 1 year). Experience Prior clinical experience in breast imaging preferred.
