The following CDL-A Driver job requires a current CDL-A License without an automatic restriction, and at least 2 years of experience driving and unloading trucks.

Hours must be flexible including nights, weekends and holidays.

About Our Class-A CDL Driver Opportunity :

• Typical Shift : 10-11 hours with start times between 1am-5am.
• Average Miles : 300 miles per trip.
• Fleet is made up of freightliner tractors.
• All trailers are reefers sized : 36', 45', 48', 53'.
• Deliveries throughout all six New England states.
• Deliveries range between 3-4 stops per day.
• Unloading is required at each stop.
• Varying types of deliveries : Pallet deliveries with docks / liftgates, two-wheeler deliveries, roller deliveries.

Driver Qualifications :

• At least 21 years old.
• CDL-A license without restrictions.
• 1-2 years of CDL-A driving experience preferred.
• DOT certified.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Unloading experience preferred.

Associated Grocers of New England, Inc., was organized in February 1946 by an enterprising group of 18 Independent Retailers who resolved to form a company with greater purchasing power than they could realize individually.

It first operated as New Hampshire Wholesale Grocers in an 18,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Concord, New Hampshire.

From the start, these retailers recognized an opportunity to build upon their own mutual strength. It wasn't long until they changed the operating structure of the company to form a purchasing and distribution cooperative known as Associated Grocers of New England, Inc.

In 2006, the current, state of the art, 380,000 square foot Distribution Center constructed on 74 acres in Pembroke, New Hampshire became AG New England's home.

The design of this new facility effectively doubled the capacity to expand and enhance product offerings. The property allows for future building expansion to upwards of 650,000 square feet.
