Service Department Manager

Champion Chevrolet of Avon the fastest-growing Chevrolet store in the State of Indiana is looking for an experienced Service Department Manager to lead our high-performing service team. This role is responsible for driving profitability ensuring an exceptional customer experience developing our people and maintaining strong process discipline in a fast-paced dealership environment.

What Youll Do
Lead day-to-day Service Department operations (lane management dispatch workflow quality control)
Ensure exceptional customer service and protect CSI performance
Coach train and develop advisors technicians and support staff
Monitor key fixed ops metrics : ELR productivity efficiency RO count warranty compliance and gross targets
Oversee warranty submissions repair order accuracy and GM compliance
Partner with Parts Used Cars BDC and Accounting to support dealership goals
Manage used car recon workflow and ensure timely completion
Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally
Drive continuous process improvement and maintain a safe organized shop
What Were Looking For
Strong understanding of fixed operations warranty and OEM processes
Proven ability to lead a team in a high-volume dealership environment
Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills
Experience with Dealertrack DMS Xtime and GM tools (or willingness to learn)
Professional customer-focused and team-oriented mindset

$135000 $180000 / year (DOE and performance plan)
