LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Rad - Diagnostic MD in Grass Valley, California, 95945!

About The Position

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with expertise in mammography for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity starts Jan 1, 2026, and features a Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm schedule for one week each month. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading studies across all modalities, performing diagnostic mammograms, and conducting breast biopsies.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Read imaging studies across all modalities
  • Perform diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies
  • Interpret results and provide timely, accurate reports
  • Collaborate with referring providers as needed
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and best practices

    • Additional Information

  • California medical license required
  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology required
  • Must hold active BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications
  • Residency completion in Radiology required; no fellowship needed
  • Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies is essential
