Assistant Director - Facilities Management (FM)
This position provides oversight of major project administration responsibilities for the in-house facilities construction team including the construction of major repairs, renovation and improvements, and special maintenance projects at the Medical Center Campus. This includes assigning, prioritizing, and coordinating resources for construction services.

Required Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree. Experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Work Experience : 5 years of experience in facilities or construction project management, including both staff management and budget administration.
Preferred Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or architectural engineering
Work Experience : Experience with 2018 IBC Codes, Experience with 2010 ADA Standards, 7 years of experience in facilities or construction project management, including both staff management and budget administration.

Compensation Statement : The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
