Job Summary
The Tribal Member Services Technician supports the Tribal Member Services program by assisting with all tribal events, maintaining accurate enrollment records, and providing assistance to Tribal Members. The Technician plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of Tribal Member Services, supporting program activities, and delivery high-quality service to Tribal Members. The Tribal Member Services works collaboratively with team members and under the supervision of the Tribal Member Services Supervisor to ensure all interactions with Tribal Members are professional, respectful, and confidential.
Essential Functions
- Assists with Tribal Member Services committees, boards and commissions
- Responds to tribal member inquiries in person, by phone, and via email, providing timely and courteous assistance
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of tribal member enrollment, application requests, requests, and services provided
- Responsible for assisting with tribe-wide mail outs
- Provides support as requested during all tribal events including but not limited to Tribal Member Informational and Annual Meetings Responsible for the purchase of meal trays and flowers for Memorial services and may be required to deliver purchased items
- Provides assistance with approved requests including, but not limited to, purchasing of items, drafting of letters, scanning and electronically filing signed letters
- Supports enrollment by assisting as requested with enrollment data entry and recordkeeping
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and priorities
- Ensures compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, Tribal policies and TERO ordinance
