The Qualification Engineer will play a key role in validating the performance and reliability of Busek’s cutting-edge space propulsion and power systems. This role is highly hands-on, combining test planning, hardware setup, execution of environmental and functional tests, and data analysis. The Qualification Engineer will collaborate closely with design engineers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to ensure all systems meet rigorous customer and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures in alignment with product requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.
• Design and validate test fixtures and support equipment, including 3D CAD modeling and creation of technical drawings.
• Oversee procurement and validation of test hardware, equipment, and materials.
• Lead and execute qualification and acceptance tests, including vibration, shock, thermal vacuum, EMI / EMC, leak, and proof tests.
• Perform hands-on test setup, inspections, troubleshooting, and data collection.
• Analyze test results, drive root cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test activities, results, and observations.
• Collaborate across engineering and program teams to ensure efficient communication and alignment.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and cleanroom / test facility protocols.
