Gorgeous, Chef-driven fine dining restaurant in San Francisco known for its refined yet approachable take on modern cuisine is seeking a dedicated and talented Sous Chef to join the team. The Sous Chef will be a key member of our culinary team, supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and consistency. This role requires a passionate, creative, and dedicated individual with experience in classic French techniques and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations, from menu planning to ingredient selection and recipe development.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring smooth workflow and consistency in food preparation.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, upholding the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.
• Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in sourcing ingredients, managing food costs, and minimizing waste.
• Step into the role of the Executive Chef in their absence, ensuring continuity in service and quality.
• Contribute to seasonal menu changes, bringing creative ideas that align with the culinary vision.
