Our Medical Directors (MDs) live out a mission that guides each hospital to greatness : Keeping our VEGs medically excellent, the VEG Way. Our MDs are the highest-level emergency veterinarians or Criticalists, who want to build and grow their very own hospital and team. Our VEG MDs are servant leaders who put the needs of their people first, lead their teams honestly, and are passionate about mentorship. They are best-in-class heroes who ensure their hospitals are delivering top-tier customer experience. Our MDs act with integrity, authenticity, and humility. QUALIFICATIONS :

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a 24 / 7 emergency and critical care setting.
• Passion for excellence in medical quality and patient care, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in emergency surgery and endoscopy preferred.
• Leadership experience in roles such as Internship Director, Medical Director, or Lead Veterinarian preferred.
• Servant leader mindset —dedicated to mentoring and developing others, advocating for pets, and supporting the local community while leading a team of exceptional Emergency Veterinarians.
