Night Auditor
To serve in a professional manner and work independently with minimal supervisor. The Night Auditor should be able to coordinate and manage all types of people. The Night Auditor maintains guests records in an orderly manner, and works with others in anticipating and servicing guests needs. The Night Auditor performs the duties of a Front Desk / Reservations Agent and completes, balances and files night audit reports on the various areas of the hotel (i.e. food & beverage outlets, rooms / front desk, gift shop, etc.) to provide accurate, timely information in accordance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures. Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, guest issues, system issues, engineering items and safety hazards to management. Reports any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards and regulations to management.

Education and / or Experience :
High School diploma or equivalent and / or related experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. College courses in an associate field preferred. Ability to understand and utilize basic computer equipment and applications, to include word processing and spreadsheet applications. Must have excellent Customer Service skills. Hotel front desk and / or accounting background and familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
Language Skills :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills :
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
