Local Contract Pharmacy Technician - $28-30 per hour

First Connect Health is seeking a local contract Pharmacy Technician for a local contract job in East Elmhurst, New York.

Shift Time : 1 : 00 PM-9 : 00 PM

Must be registered as Registered Pharmacy Technician from the NYS Department of Education (NYSED).

Interviews are in person at Riker's Island. Candidates must have two forms of ID's to be considered.

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, pharmacy technicians will assist pharmacists in preparation, distribution of medications and maintaining drug inventory.

Adheres to Federal, State, and local laws and other regulatory requirements regarding pharmacy and institutional practice.

Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time period. -Received, return and deliver medications, medication carts, and supplies to various hospital areas.

Operate equipment properly

Troubleshoots automated dispensing systems as needed.
