Position Summary

We are seeking a Business Development & Community Outreach Manager who will play a key role in growing our Snoqualmie Valley center by connecting with families, schools, and community partners. This role combines family enrollment, relationship-building, and community outreach to expand Mathnasiums reach and impact.

This is not a tutoring position. Instead, youll focus on building partnerships, hosting community events, and guiding families through the enrollment process . To be successful, you should enjoy networking, organizing outreach activities, and confidently explaining how our programs help children succeed in math (well provide training on our method).

Primary Responsibilities

Community Outreach & Partnerships (60%)

• Build relationships with schools, PTAs, libraries, after-school programs, and community organizations.
• Represent Mathnasium at school fairs, family nights, and local community events.
• Organize and host outreach activities such as STEM nights, family workshops, and assessment days.
• Track leads from events and follow up promptly to convert into enrollments.

Family Enrollment & Engagement (40%)

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families : answer inquiries, schedule and conduct assessments.
• Present Mathnasium programs to parents and guide them through the enrollment process.
• Explain student progress, learning goals, and instructional updates in parent-friendly language (training provided).
• Support the Parent Ambassador referral program and encourage family-to-family recommendations.
• Conduct ongoing parent communication and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and renewals.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to connect confidently with families and community leaders.
• Outgoing, relationship-oriented personality with a passion for education and community involvement.
• Organized and self-motivated; able to manage multiple events and follow-ups.
• Comfort with Algebra-level math concepts (training provided; you dont need to be a math expert).
• Experience in education, customer service, sales, or outreach is preferred.
• Familiarity with local schools, PTAs, or community groups is a plus.
