Inventory Control Technician
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Correctly completing location and cycle counts. Handle special projects through completion.
- Maintain box aisle.
- Accurately perform location counts daily.
- Find any missing material. Provide extensive research and explanation on any material not found.
- Print, run query and count material for the SAP cycle count.
- Keep warehouse organized.
- Re-barcode boxes and maintains condition report of box aisle.
- Complete special projects as needed.
- Check the barcodes for accuracy.
- Assist Order Picker / handler when time permits.
- Move barcoded racks and barcoded boxes from the barcode office to their locations and enter them into the computer inventory using our barcode equipment.
- Initiates investigations into cause of damages or shortages of finished products for freight or insurance.
- Conducts periodic inventory audits and reconciles physical counts.
- All other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.Proficient computer skills required.At least 5 years' experience in warehouse operations with inventory handling preferred.Ability to obtain forklift and crane certification.Organizational Relationship :
Reports directly to Shipping Supervisor.Collaborates with all departments.Working Conditions :
Ability to work extended hours as business needs dictate.Must be able to move objects up to 50 pounds.Ability to ascend or descend ladders and stairs and the like.Ability to stand, sit, walk, push, pull for extended periods of time, occasionally kneeling and bending.
