About the Role

Verkada is looking for a new Senior Brand Designer. This is an amazing opportunity to extend our brand across all customer touchpoints : brand guidelines, in-person experiences, print, digital, advertising, events, and more, in compelling new ways. If you are a passionate designer, care deeply about crafting beautiful user-centered experiences, and enjoy strong creative collaboration with marketing, content, and product, we'd love to hear from you. As a member of the growing Creative team, you will play a lead role in developing the brand, elevating the Verkada story, and building out design systems and experiences that connect with our customers and enable us to modernize an antiquated industry while making the world a more secure place. This role will report to our Senior Creative Director.

We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our HQ in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week.

What You'll Do

• Define, design, and execute the Verkada brand system for both external and internal target audiences.
• Design and scale materials for user and partner conferences and trade show events.
• Evolve and build the Verkada brand system for cross-functional use.
• Collaborate with other members of the marketing creative team on marketing collateral, trade show events, and other needs.
• Elevate and expand Verkada's drive for excellence in crafting the best communication and design.
• Serve as an ambassador of the growing and expanding Verkada employee brand.
• Manage and maintain a strong understanding of project timelines and deliverables.
• Communicate and collaborate with designers, content writers, web design & development, and broader cross-functional stakeholders within Marketing, Design, Product, Demand Gen, and Operations.

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and / or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
