A Residential HVAC Helper assists HVAC technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings.
Job Title : Residential HVAC Helper
Location : Mesa, AZ
Salary : $25.00 Per Hour
Hours : 6am to 3 pm on Monday-Thursday 6 am- 12 pm on Fridays
Job Summary : We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Residential HVAC Helper to assist our team of HVAC technicians in delivering high-quality service to our residential clients.
The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of HVAC systems and a willingness to learn and grow in the field. This role involves assisting with installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems under the supervision of experienced technicians.
Responsibilities :
- Assist HVAC technicians with installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties.
- Help with the maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as necessary.
- Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Learn to troubleshoot HVAC systems and assist in diagnosing issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and respectful while on job sites.
- Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
