Job Title : Controller Location : Nashville, TN (On-site) Employment Type : Direct Hire Salary Range : $175,000 – $200,000 / year (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead their accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment across all financial activities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in accounting and finance, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership
• Mentor and manage the accounting team
