Banquet Server / Server Assistant

DBS is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for the role of Banquet Server / Server Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up banquet rooms and arranging tables, chairs, linens, and centerpieces according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.
• Clear plates, glasses, and utensils from tables promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with the breakdown and cleanup after events, including proper storage of leftover items and cleaning of equipment and banquet spaces.
• Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and event staff to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a banquet serving or food service role preferred but not necessary.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and be flexible in various situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift heavy trays or items and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, based on event scheduling.
• Food handling certification is a plus but not required.
