As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a retail location. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and respond to situations as needed. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.

Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall location in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a visible presence.

Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the business and around the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for security-related concerns.

Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious behavior or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and / or customers, assisting with directions or information as needed.

Complete incident and activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Support Allied Universal and client policies by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty.

Minimum Requirements :

Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Must possess Level III Armed Certification if located in Texas.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
