Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Oversight
Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for CPLG's North American Cyber and Technology Errors and Omissions claims team, ensuring alignment with TMHCC's global claims philosophy and standards.Supervise and mentor claims managers, examiners, and support staff. Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative culture.Establish and monitor department goals, metrics, and KPIs to evaluate performance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.Lead the development and implementation of best practices in claims handling, litigation management, and policy interpretation.Claims and Legal Expertise
Oversee the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of complex, high-exposure claims.Interpret and apply policy language, case law, and jurisdictional requirements to determine coverage and resolution strategy.Collaborate with legal counsel on coverage opinions, litigation strategy, and regulatory compliance.Ensure consistent adherence to claims-handling protocols, reserving practices, and reporting standards.Operational and Strategic Initiatives
Partner with underwriting, legal, finance, and operations teams to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement in claims management.Develop and implement claims policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance departmental efficiency and risk mitigation.Identify trends and emerging risks to inform underwriting strategy and product development.Represent TMHCC at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings to promote claims excellence and market leadership.Competencies
