Role Summary :

As the General Manager, you are the heartbeat of your shop, the gatekeeper of gusto!'s knowledge and standards, driving business success through hands-on leadership. You will create an empowering environment where guests enjoy unparalleled service and team members feel motivated and valued.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Brand Representation :

Embody the gusto! spirit, ensuring the shop reflects our brand standards impeccably.

Operational Leadership :

Manage daily operations actively, with a focus on financial acumen, cost control, and logistics management.

Team Management :

Hire, train, and manage your team, fostering a culture of growth and high performance. Ensure legal compliance in all team management practices.

Culture and Development :

Invest in your team's development, enhancing their skills through effective communication, regular feedback sessions, success celebrations, and collaborative problem-solving.

Key Performance Indicators :

Drive shop performance based on clear metrics such as Customer Experience Ratings (CER), team engagement, sales, Steritech and OC audits, and profitability.

Professional Appearance :

Adhere to a professional dress code of clean, wrinkle-free attire—preferably collared shirts paired with well-tailored, crisp jeans or slacks. Consider including khaki pants as an option. Avoid denim with rips, frays, or distressing.

Requirements :

Minimum three years of management experience in the food service industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient PC skills.

Maintain an active SERV Safe Certification.

A self-driven leader committed to the comprehensive management of the shop.

Driving Requirements : All team members operating vehicles for business purposes must successfully pass MVR checks and complete required defensive driving online courses as a condition of employment

Physical and Time Requirements :

Available for at least 45 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Capable of performing physical tasks, such as reaching, standing, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
