Summary

We are seeking a proactive and solutions-driven Plant Engineer to improve efficiency, safety, and quality across plant operations. You will partner with Plant Management to identify process improvements, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure smooth, cost-effective production. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in both office and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify cost-saving opportunities in labor, overhead, and materials
• Perform and report time studies, presenting findings to management
• Assess production challenges and recommend actionable improvements
• Support daily plant productivity and reliability
• Review production practices, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements
• Conduct ROI analyses for capital improvement projects
• Investigate safety incidents and disciplinary matters
• Provide material take-offs for upcoming projects
• Develop optimized production schedules
• Participate in weekly safety and quality meetings
