Join our dynamic 787 team in North Charleston, South Carolina, as an Associate or Experienced Quality Engineer. As a Quality Engineer, you will dive deep into the intricacies of our engineering documentation, assessing and enhancing how we translate complex requirements into clear, actionable instructions for our production teammates. Your role will be both challenging and rewarding, as you will engage directly with the build process through on-the-floor observations, ensuring that quality is not just a goal but a culture. You will also be a part of our safety and quality transformation through the execution of our Comprehensive Safety and Quality Plan. This position will be supporting either Aft body building or Final assembly building.

Position Responsibilities :

• Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance
• Perform audits of critical safety statement of work for engineering, build plan, and conformance planning improvements
• Review and improve current build plan for simplification and standardization
• Recommend and execute corrective actions to address systemic non-conformances
• Perform engineering change review and verification
• Perform continuous improvement of Quality Engineering processes

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (level 2) : $73,100 - $98,900

Summary pay range (level 3) : $88,400 - $119,600
