Gold's Gym SoCal and its affiliated clubs are growing fast and looking for an hourly Fitness Consultant to help us provide world-class service to guests and members by utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products and programs.   • Tours potential members through the club and describes the facility, equipment, services, and amenities that tie to their fitness needs and goals
  • Ensure all guests are registered and entered into the system
  • Communicate membership and fitness offers clearly using company-provided tools
  • Sign up guests professionally using company sales techniques and protocol
  • Follow the Membership Agreement Procedure when enrolling members and guests
  • On-board new members and assist with retention activities to drive club profitability
  • Strive to achieve or exceed personal and team sales goals
  • Generate leads from external community outreach and internal programs
  • Set appointments for leads and potential new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Membership Sales Manager to enhance member experience and retention
  • Engage members with fitness offerings including personal training, classes, and digital content
  • Maintain relationships with members, address questions, and connect them with the right resources
  • Provide a clean, friendly, well-maintained club
  • Help new members become comfortable in the club

  • College degree preferred
  • Current CPR Certification required
  • Bilingual preferred
  • This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and wearing a clean uniform in a professional demeanor are also required.
