Team Vision

The Pricing Strategy & Underwriting Analytics team is responsible for delivering pricing infrastructure, actuarial rigor, and strategic insights that help shape underwriting decisions, product evolution, and portfolio performance. Our work balances technical excellence with commercial understanding. We emphasize transparency, strong documentation practices, and alignment with ASOP standards.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for a data-savvy insurance analyst looking to take on a more strategic and cross-functional position focused on pricing transformation. Youll work closely with Underwriting, Product, and IT to guide pricing-related initiatives from supporting new product launches to validating migrated rating logic and informing system design with real data insights.

Youll play a critical role in building pricing analysis tools and shaping the enterprise pricing system that underpins how we assess and price risk. This includes pulling and interpreting data to inform tool structure, contributing to the design of pricing logic, and ensuring solutions meet both technical and business needs. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to validate results, identify and resolve issues, and deliver clear, well-documented tools that support consistent, data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Familiarity with SQL and data manipulation is essential, along with the ability to work with technical teammates and understand the business needs behind the numbers. Depending on experience, you may take ownership of analyses, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to a culture of transparency, precision, and execution.

• Develop full pricing plans including rate indications, expense loading, trend analysis, and rating factor design.
• Create transparent and well-documented pricing models that align with product structures and underwriting goals.
• Maintain clear documentation of all assumptions, methods, and limitations per ASOP standards.
