Base pay range

Tildei is an AI-powered marketing platform that creates intelligent brand agents for commerce and marketing conversations. We build comprehensive, custom Brand Knowledge Graphs from product catalog, marketing materials, FAQs, and brand guidelines. We then deploy agents across social and digital channels to engage customers 24 / 7 in any language. Our agents drive marketing and commerce outcomes by having meaningful conversations that guide customers toward product recommendations and purchases, essentially acting as a brand\'s most knowledgeable sales associate. Tildei, based in NY, was founded by serial entrepreneur Mark Ghermezian, the co-founder and founding CEO of Braze (BRZE), and led the company as its founding CEO, pioneering a new category from ideation to IPO (Braze IPO'd in November 2021).

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Founding Business Development Representative (BDR) with a proven track record of generating qualified sales leads via cold outbound prospecting. You will be joining Tildei at an early and pivotal stage. In addition to prospecting and supporting the founders, you'll be instrumental in shaping our product, processes, and culture.

To excel in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in best practices of outbound prospecting, a deep understanding of the tools needed to execute it at scale, and an unparalleled ability to write strong email copy. The right fit is a motivated hunter that can hit their numbers with minimal support, learn quickly, and ideate creative outbound campaigns that cut through the noise. In this role you'll be supporting our founding team and an AE by booking them meetings with qualified leads. You must leverage your creativity, organization, and attention to detail to get your message through to marketing leaders.

This is a full-time, permanent position. If you are in the NYC area, we follow a "4 days in, 1 day work-from-home" hybrid work environment in NYC (Chelsea). If you are elsewhere in the US, this position can be fully remote. This role pays a competitive salary and commissions and reports directly to a cofounder.

Responsibilities

  • Run experiments to find creative ways to connect with our ICP
  • Craft creative outbound campaigns that are truly unique and stand out from the clutter
  • Execute outbound prospecting at scale by utilizing the right tools. Experience leveraging AI tools for outbounding is a plus
  • Book meetings with qualified leads
  • Set the pace as a leader amongst the team and help us scale

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a BDR / SDR or junior seller at a high-growth martech startup with a proven track record of exceeding quota
  • Proficiency and experience using Hubspot and Apollo for prospecting (ideally)
  • Willingness and ability to work out of our NYC office 4 days / week (Monday through Thursday; commuter benefits available)

    Target Compensation

    $70,000 - $75,000 (base) +

    $20,000 (commissions @ 100%-to-goal, uncapped) =

    Total : $90,000 - $95,000 (OTE)
