We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Miami. This role is focused on expanding revenue and building strategic partnerships within the international freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive new business development and expand our client portfolio
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key clients and overseas agents
- Lead a remote team across Brazil, Colombia, and Spain
- Grow our agent network within WCA and Parnity alliances
- Attend WCA conferences to maximise new opportunities
- Identify market trends and emerging business prospects
- Collaborate across departments to ensure operational success
Requirements :
6 7+ years experience in international freight forwarding salesExperience working with agents (overseas / local)Bilingual : English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a plusStrong communication, leadership, and negotiation skillsSelf-starter with the ability to manage remote teamsWillingness to travel for industry events and meetingsCompensation & Benefits :
