Illinois Licensed Power Distribution Manager

A company is looking for a Power Distribution Design Manager to oversee utility distribution projects remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of electrical distribution engineers to ensure technical excellence and project delivery

Allocate staff to projects based on skills and availability, while managing resource allocation and client expectations

Monitor performance metrics, serve as project lead on complex projects, and develop engineering staff through mentorship

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 20 years of experience in utility distribution engineering (4kV-34kV), including overhead and underground systems

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; PE license is mandatory

Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and executing projects related to reliability and capacity expansion

Strong project management skills with experience in budget oversight and proposal development

Passionate about team development and knowledge sharing, with a focus on quality and mentorship
