The Opportunity

This position is a field-based role based in Chicago, IL in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Leadless division. Abbott focuses on innovative technologies to improve how doctors treat heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats.

What You’ll Work On

The Regional Leadless Specialist provides technical, clinical, educational and sales support to ensure adoption and growth of Abbott leadless technology. You will work closely with internal and external customers to drive therapy adoption and procedural success.

Job Duties

• Educates physicians, nurses, educators, and other health care providers on indications and patient selection for leadless pacing.
• Provide procedural support in accordance with the instructions for use / trial protocol and best practices to facilitate procedural consistency and optimal outcomes.
• Assist in education and training activities for Abbott personnel.
• Stay abreast of and communicate clinical data regarding leadless CRM products.
• Coordinate, deliver and implement programs and resources to facilitate market expansion and therapy access.
• Provide market intelligence for refining therapy training and expansion plans.
• Liaison with marketing for technology improvements and feedback on next generation products.
• Complete administrative reporting as assigned.
• Exercise judgment in planning and organizing work; monitor performance and report status.
• Use best business practices to ensure success and cost-effectiveness in areas of responsibility.
• Ensure employee compliance with Abbott policies and practices.

The base pay for this position is $85,300.00 – $170,700.00. In specific locations, pay ranges may vary.
