Senior Technical Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

This job is an integral member of one of our teams responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of our technical solutions, ensuring their efficient and reliable operation. This position will be responsible for contributing to our technical ecosystem including infrastructure, systems, networks, applications, integrations, etc. They will work closely with other technical professionals, analysts, and engineers to build and optimize solutions, ensuring quality, integrity, and performance. The ideal candidate is adaptable, solution-oriented, and capable of collaborating across multiple teams to support a broad range of technical initiatives. The incumbent, and team, may be involved in every aspect as a part of the technical process from idea generation, analysis, design, build, and support using various technologies and design patterns.

RESOURCES AND COMPETENCE

Responsibilities : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, resolving technical issues. Collaborate with various enGen teams on critical infrastructure projects and operational tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.

Technical Skills : Strong understanding and experience with Kafka, Middleware, WebSphere Application Server, Apache Web Server, App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and IBM MQ.

Preferred : Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in one or more of the listed technologies.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions, while providing general production monitoring and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Monitor work against production schedule and provide progress updates; report any issues or technical difficulties to leadership regularly.
• Document technical processes and procedures; participate in technical reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of architecture to ensure solution alignment to enterprise goals and standards.
• Mentor other associate and intermediate technical engineers as needed.
• Perform technical analysis and provide insights to support decision-making across various departments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest relevant technologies and industry best practices.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.

Pay Range Minimum : $78,900.00

Pay Range Maximum : $147,500.00
