Job descriptionExperience : 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator. Migration Expertise : Proven experience with SQL Server database migrations, ideally across different infrastructure platforms. Performance Tuning : Strong knowledge and practical experience in SQL Server performance tuning and optimization. Data Handling : Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain databases handling large amounts of data and high transaction volumes. Production Support : Willingness and availability to provide flexible production support, including outside of standard business hours when necessary. Experience with OpenShift containers. Proficiency in Linux Server environments.
Job Description : Responsibilities :
- Lead the phased migration of SQL Server.
- Perform comprehensive installation and configuration of SQL Server instances ,ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Conduct proactive database tuning and optimization to maintain peak health, performance, and stability for high-volume transactional systems.
- Execute robust data migration processes ensuring data consistency and integrity throughout the transition.
- Continuously review ongoing database changes, performing impact analysis to prevent disruptions and ensure operational continuity.
- Provide essential production support, demonstrating flexibility in working hours to address critical database incidents and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to support ongoing database needs and project requirements.
