POSITION SUMMARY :
The Director of Marketing and Sales directs the overall vision and strategy for the company’s marketing, sales, and product development functions by relying on customer-centric orientation and data metrics and providing effective leadership to the marketing, sales, and product teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Manages the company’s general marketing, recruitment marketing and product developmentfunctions, including strategy development and implementation, performance analysis and reporting,public relations, internal and external communications, design, and branding.
2. Creates, implements, and manages marketing and sales strategies, goals, initiatives, and campaigns toachieve comprehensive results and census growth.
3. Regularly track, analyze, and report on current sales initiatives, overall performance, census metrics,and opportunities for growth.
4. Develops and enhances the recognition of the Prestige brand and services by managing consistentmessaging and brand integrity, positioning Prestige in the market, and driving product development.
5. Oversees product development and execution of strategy. Partners with Product Marketing Managerto manage product lifecycle and overall performance.
6. Conducts competitive market analysis and makes recommendations based on internal and externaldata and industry best practices. Identifies opportunities for marketing and sales differentiators andimplements innovative solutions to highlight those differentiators and target specific markets.
7. Leads the marketing and product teams and internal stakeholders to plan, create, and launch creative campaigns that drive lead generation and census growth. Measures campaigns’ effectiveness andmakes modifications as necessary to increase campaign success.
8. Leads the sales team to develop and execute strategic plans to reach and maintain sales and censusgoals.
9. Develops and implements comprehensive sales training programs and initiatives to equip the sales team with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools for success. Fosters a dynamic sales culturewithin the organization by promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning, ultimately driving comprehensive sales results and achieving census goals.
10. Partners with Vice President of Operations and operations teams to align marketing, product, and sales efforts with business needs to achieve comprehensive results.
11. Manages media relationships to promote Prestige brand, mission, and product offerings.
12. Analyzes, interprets, forecasts, and reports on marketing, product and sales metrics to executive and senior leadership and key stakeholders.
13. Collects and reports on key marketing and sales data and findings. Ensures accurate data and analytics of initiatives and uses data and analytics to provide recommendations for futureoptimization and growth.
14. Designs, implements, and reviews marketing budgets. Prioritizes marketing projects and allocates resources accordingly.
15. Provides supervision and leadership to marketing, sales, and product teams, including the recruitment marketing team members, by managing projects and workflow and ensuring key deliverables are metwithin specified timeframes. Responsible for selection, training, coaching, performance management, and annual reviews for assigned team members.
16. Maintains professional knowledge of industry trends and best practices through continuingprofessional education, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professionalorganizations.
17. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 7 years progressive marketing, sales, and/or product manager experience, with at least 3 years in a management role preferred. Experience in skilled nursing or senior living environment strongly preferred. Strong strategic planning, project and product management, and leadership skills required. Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions based on data and comprehensive market analysis. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience. Product Management certification and/or Master’s degree preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and in writing, with personnel at all levels of the organization, residents and their families, and members of the community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to maintain, understand, and review all reports and records. Ability to maintain basic financial records of expenditures of the department/center/community. Ability to understand budgets.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to accurately evaluate, troubleshoot, and problem-solve to meet the needs of the team. Develop training for team member needs and evaluate results.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily works in an office environment either at central support or home office. Infrequent travel to industry events, skilled nursing centers, and assisted living communities required as needed.
