Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift : 3×12 Nights (1845–0715)

Ratio : 1 : 5

Experience : Minimum 1 year Med Surg (18 months preferred)

Certs Required : BLS, NIHSS (AHA or Red Cross)

Float : Yes – to Med Surg and similar units

Weekends : Every other weekend

Block Scheduling : Not guaranteed (may schedule 3 in a row)

RTO : Ideally ≤ 5 days

Locals : Accepted – no radius

License : IL RN license in hand required

Charting : Cerner

Hospital : 562-bed Level I Trauma

Scrubs : Any solid color

Patient Types : Med Surg, overflow stroke, trauma, post-op, respiratory, infection

Skills Preferred : Telemetry, IV insulin, chest tubes, wound vac, central line care, rapid response
