Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy cybersecurity professional to lead and support all cybersecurity aspects of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities. This role will be responsible for assessing cyber risks associated with potential acquisitions, estimating integration costs, and ensuring proper security controls are implemented throughout the integration lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and business operations, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Conduct cybersecurity due diligence for all M&A targets, identifying risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain a cyber risk assessment model tailored to M&A activities.
• Estimate cybersecurity integration costs and resource requirements for each deal.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, IT, Risk, Finance) to align cybersecurity efforts with broader M&A strategy.
• Track and advocate for the implementation of cybersecurity controls during post-merger integration.
• Continuously update and refine the cyber cost estimation model based on lessons learned.
• Provide executive-level reporting on cyber risks, integration progress, and cost updates.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout the M&A process.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity in M&A contexts.
