POSITION MISSION : The Accounting Supervisor will oversee the treasury functions and daily transactional accounting activities of the company. Position is responsible for supervision, maintaining internal controls, as well as accounting compliance.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Supervisory Responsibilities :

• Oversees Accounting operations, which include cash receipts, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, investments, and fixed assets.
• Oversees and maintains the system of internal controls over applicable accounting processes to minimize risk. Recommends and implements process improvements as needed to ensure that internal controls are operating effectively.
• Recruits and hires Accounting operations staff and conducts performance evaluations.
• Implements training for new hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff.
• Responsible for training, performance management, and accountability of staff.

Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.

Five years or more of related experience required.

Certified Public Accountant designation desired.
