Position Summary :
The Employee Relations Coordinator serves as a vital link between the Human Resources department and employees throughout the organization. This position plays a key role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and transparent workplace culture that aligns with Just Culture principles promoting accountability, learning, and open communication. Youll support employee relations processes, investigations, and compliance efforts, while serving as a trusted resource for staff and management.

Key Responsibilities :
Guide managers on fair, constructive coaching and corrective action using Just Culture principlesCollaborate with leaders on performance improvement plans and disciplinary stepsSupport and track workers compensation claims and interactive processesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsConduct or assist with employee relations investigationsReview and process terminations and separationsAssist with HR compliance audits and reportingCommunicate HR policy updates and reinforce organizational standardsQualifications :
Associate or Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field preferred1-2 years of HR generalist or employee relations experience requiredPHR / SPHR or other HR certification preferredNonprofit or healthcare HR experience a plusStrong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirementsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills verbal, written, and presentationProven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situationsProficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to prioritize, multitask, and deliver high-quality results under deadlinesCommitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a supportive workplace
