Raycap, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Finance Operations Manager to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Kearny, NJ. The Finance Operations Manager will report into the Finance function of Raycap Group and will be a business partner to the management team at the Kearny facility. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide business acumen, initiate and maintain processes, analyses and reports to control costs and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Monitor customer orders and backlog and its timely execution by production
• Perform product cost analysis, both estimate and actual
• Compare actual costs to estimates and work with other departments on determining causes of deviations & corrective actions
• Be a link between procurement, engineering, production and finance and surface opportunities to reduce cost and improve gross margin performance
• Review capital expenditure initiatives, negotiate pricing and commercial terms with vendors
• Take the lead on large recurring expenses such as leasing buildings and equipment
• Budget and control ancillary spending at the factory and propose improvement initiatives
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and reporting to senior management
• Ensure accuracy of inventory, propose adjustments and write-offs
• Initiate and monitor physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, investigate variances, and resolve issues
• Analysis of inventory turnover, slow and non-moving & obsolete parts; provide insights and propose mitigating actions
• Provide back-up & support for other accounting functions as needed, including special projects as assigned
• Support internal and external audit requests during annual and interim audits
