JOB TITLE : Recovery Support Specialist

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Full-time, 40 hours / week

SCHEDULED HOURS : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30am-5pm : one weeknight 12pm-8 : 30pm and rotating weekends / holidays 10 : 30am-7pm

PROGRAM / LOCATION : Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT); Manchester, CT

• Community-based travel, predominately within a 15-mile radius. Company vehicles readily accessible for use!

ABOUT THE PROGRAM : Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT)

Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) serves adults 18 years of age and older. ACTT provides intensive community-based treatment, support, and rehabilitation to individuals who have a serious persistent mental illness (SPMI) or a dual diagnosis of SPMI and a Substance Use Disorder and be determined as requiring a high level of service needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : For ACTT : Bachelor's preferred, HS +4 years or AS / AA +2 years lived experience considered.

Experience : 2+ years working with identified populations and specifically as an CPSRP (formerly RSS) preferred. Self identifies as an individual with mental health and or substance use disorder in long term recovery.

Licensure / Certification / Registration : Certified Peer Support & Recovery Specialist (CPSRP) from Advocacy Unlimited, Recovery Coach Certification from CCAR, or an equivalent certification related to the field of Recovery Support required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Valid Driver's License required.

COMPENSATION

$18.00 / hr minimum and up, commensurate upon experience.
