Responsibilities
- Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers.
- Reconcile and balance accounts accurately.
- Generate and analyze financial statements to provide insights.
- Prepare and process payroll efficiently.
- Generate 1099s and W2s, and calculate and prepare tax statements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts.
- Assist in client retention efforts and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.National bookkeeping and payroll certifications from the National Bookkeeping Association are preferred, or the ability to obtain them.1-3 years of bookkeeping experience is essential.Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and generally accepted accounting principles.Ability to interpret and apply instructions, policies, and regulations accurately.Professional discretion in handling confidential information.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task and work independently.Desirable
