Experience with PowerShell scripting in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and on-premise environments. Advanced problem resolution skills. Experience with automated software deployment. Knowledge of Active Directory, VMware virtualization, and VMWare ESX. Experience with IT server environments, MS IIS, WebSphere, Citrix, and security issues related to firewalls and ports. Experience repackaging software into MSIs for deployment. Experience with complex Active Directory domains and Group Policy Management. Job Description
We are seeking a Systems Administrator for a long-term, multiyear project in Madison, WI. The role involves managing system installations, upgrades, backups, and security to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software issues.
- Perform system backups and recovery.
- Maintain data files and monitor system configurations.
- Apply knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Utilize 5+ years of experience to plan and accomplish complex tasks with creativity and judgment.
