Job Summary
Manage project execution activities of several commercial construction projects with varying complexity and size while building relationships and maintaining H-E-B standards.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions :
Manage / prioritize a high volume of small to medium complexity projects under guidance of Program Leader
Engage in project planning, initiation, coordination and close out activities including gathering project requirements in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
Learns to manage contractors from bid reviews, adherence to project plans, schedule phasing, and performance review
Engage in review and verify accuracy of project information, documentation, schedules, contracting / invoicing and correspondence
Qualifications & Key Requirements :
Intermediate individual contributor in a professional role. Works independently within an established framework, receiving detailed instructions only on new assignments. Possesses specialized knowledge and skills required to perform the role. Applies practical knowledge, learned theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to difficult but non-complex, conventional assignments. Majority of work efforts are focused on meeting objectives related to implementation or delivery of processes, programs, and / or policies. Builds productive internal and external working relationships.
Bachelor's degree or additional role-relevant experience. 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Architecture, engineering, construction / project management, or related field, comparable formal training, or work experience
Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials and building codes
Proficient PC skills specifically around industry related software (MS suite, project management applications, plan review tools, etc.)
Proficient organizational, analytical, time management and decision-making skills
Proficient verbal / written communication, and interpersonal / collaboration skills
Proficient troubleshooting, risk management and problem-solving skills
Related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or experience.
