The Payroll Specialist will perform payroll and accounts payable in accordance with organization policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). They will manage and maintain payroll processing including payroll related reports for month-end and taxes as well as prepare, analyze, and make recommendations related to complex financial reports & statistics.

Schedule : Monday - Friday; 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm

Location : Larkspur

By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

• Process the payroll, ensuring the bi-weekly process, off cycle and manual checks are prepared in an accurate and timely manner using complex software systems. This includes and is not limited to collection of and review of timesheets, approvals, data entry, reimbursements and payroll reports, and maintenance of permanent payroll files.
• Prepare GL upload of bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll files ensuring accuracy of the payroll import data received.
• Collaborate, respond, and resolve manager and staff questions and issues regarding timesheets and payroll checks.
• Prepare payroll-related reports as required by state / federal laws (for example : quarterly 941) and as may be required by Management.

Education / Experience : Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in accounting or related field from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two year payroll experience.

Pay Range : $36.00 - $43.00 hourly
