General Summary :

Sensors-based technology has a wide range of applications including navigation, gaming, smart user interface, multimedia, virtual reality and augmented reality. This challenging position offers the opportunity to work with leading edge AI & signal processing sensor solutions embedded in smartphones, automotive, IOT, smartwatches as well as other consumer electronics devices. Job activities span the whole product life cycle from early R&D to commercial deployment. The successful candidate will work with systems, software, and integration / test engineers in the QCT sensors group

Job responsibilities include :

• Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for single and multi-sensor fusion using DSP and ML / AI techniques. Typical development flow uses high level languages like MATLAB and Python.
• Balance between performance, power consumption, and computational complexity.
• Create reports on algorithm evaluation, validation, benchmarking and delivering complete design and user documentation.
• Work with global development and test teams.
• Software implementation in C / C++ on Qualcomm platforms

The position is technology focused and involves participation in a broad range of sensors systems engineering activities within the Sensors Technologies group

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :

$142,200.00 - $213,200.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
