Description : Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) Associate Manager for a position based in Orlando, Florida. The Quality professional will be responsible for leadership and performance within the Supplier Quality Engineering discipline, including Supplier Quality Engineering business process management, data analytics, continuous improvement, and talent development, training and knowledge continuity. The position may require working flexible hours and travel.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Supplier Quality Engineer Associate Manager, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Supplier Quality Engineering and as an Adviser for the Quality team. This position requires that the candidate stay current with industry standards, solutions and leverage technology into MFC. Duties include, but are not limited to :

• Oversight and direct responsibility for Supplier Quality Engineer(s) / Analyst(s)
• Supervising the Supplier Quality assignment and coordination of daily tasks inclusive of but not limited to (1) source inspection, (2) First Article Inspection (FAI), (3) Production Process Baseline, (4) surveillance, (5) Failure Review Board, (6) Material Review Board (MRB), (7)Corrective Action Board and (8) product line validations as outlined by applicable company and industry standards.
• Ensure Supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified.
• Establish, revise, review and implement departmental policy and procedures.
• Provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters.
• Drive strategies resulting in optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management System and talent development.
• Develop, implement and support processes to optimize program execution while driving out risks.
• Utilize quality methodologies and MFC policies and procedures.
• Identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices.
• Support Supplier requests tied to program requirements, while interfacing with customers and program management.

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
