Part-time position available :

Monday to Friday - 12 : 00pm to 4 : 00pm

As the LVN, your responsibilities may include but are not limited to the below :

• Provide nursing services to the crisis respite program including but not limited to :   Physical assessments, timely documentation, as well as teaching and assisting adults with mental illnesses.
• On Call for medication questions.
• Correctly filling out MARS forms on a continual basis and being in constant contact with doctors, pharmacists, caseworkers, etc. with concern to the care of the residents.
• Maintains Universal Precaution Guidelines and safety measures according to Agency policies and procedures.
• Keeping track of all doctors appointments and follow-ups, including prescriptions, notes, orders, etc. given by a doctor or pharmacist as it pertains to the residents.
• Assists in the orientation and training of new personnel in medication management to include supervision of self-observation of medication by the residents of their individual medications.
• Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
• Responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
• Handles client health information at a minimum necessary to document data, access and carry out responsibilities of the position, maintains client confidentiality.
• Working hand in hand with the Behavioral Health Authority on all issues and concerns of the residents.
• Immediately report all abuse, neglect or exploitation and medication errors to The Wood Groups Client Rights Officer and facility administrator.
• Be familiar with The Wood Groups policy and procedures to include employee handbook.
• Performs related work as assigned by the administrator.
