Job Title : Automation Engineer

Location : 101 International Drive, Portsmouth, NH - 03801

Contract Length : 6+ months (potential for extension or permanent hire)

Pay Rate : $29.94 - $49.90 / hour on W2

Job Description :

• Support ongoing client operations through technical assistance as it relates to the manufacturing and process automation systems.
• Provide a technical resource to operations customers to ensure that instrumentation and automation systems are designed and operating to meet production needs.
• Develop technical knowledge on manufacturing equipment and processes automation systems
• Support resolution of equipment breakdowns and quality issues in the suites
• Conduct troubleshooting and technical analyses on manufacturing equipment and processes automation systems including PI data analyses, review / troubleshooting code, etc.
• Assist with tech transfer, projects, and process improvements as needed.
• Performs all work safely and meets the requisite training requirements.
• Complete change request lot assessments to support lot release
• Review SOPs, Functional Specifications, and work instructions
• Remain up to date on all assigned training activities
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Design, implement, and test automation changes in DeltaV plant-wide control system in support of upstream and downstream biological process improvements and tech transfer.
• Provide technical support in relation to automated systems when necessary.
• Writes documentation (functional design, configuration, etc.) that detail automated processes and document any changes in existing equipment design or operation.
