Associate Director of Nursing - Primary Care Healthcare Position Type : Full-Time, Permanent, Exempt
Location : Brighton, Massachusetts
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Nursing to lead nursing and medical assistant services in our primary care healthcare organization. This leadership role oversees chronic care management, infection control, and occupational health processes while collaborating with clinical leadership on best practices and patient care excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Leadership & Management
- Supervise nursing managers and chronic care management programs
- Ensure adequate RN, LPN, and MA staffing and competency
- Develop KPIs for staffing and performance metrics
- Clinical Operations
- Oversee nursing services, policies, and procedures
- Manage infection control and occupational health protocols
- Coordinate vaccine programs and regulatory compliance
- Quality & Compliance
- Participate in regulatory survey readiness (Joint Commission, NCQA, DPH)
- Review patient satisfaction surveys and incident reports
- Support clinical quality initiatives and safety programs
- Education & Development
- Create onboarding and continuing education curricula
- Foster professional development and staff retention
- Implement nursing innovations and care delivery models
Required Qualifications
Education : Master's Degree preferredExperience : 5+ years RN experience with 3+ years supervisory experienceLicensing : Current Massachusetts RN license requiredSpecialization : 3+ years primary care nursing experienceManagement : 3+ years nurse management experiencePreferred Qualifications
Bilingual capabilities (Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole)Primary care triage experiencePatient Centered Medical Home model knowledgeEMR and Microsoft Office proficiencyExperience with diverse patient populationsHealthcare system management experienceWhat We Offer
Competitive salary-Salary Range : $105,000 - $134,000 annually
